Final block of style lines and scuff to prep for sealer/paint.

The dash is painted the body color so I taped off the defroster vents to avoid overspray when I cover the body.

After the final block I am cleaning panel by panel.

Since the interior, trunk, and engine bay are painted, they are getting sealed off for the booth.

Ready for the booth so I sealed off the pass side.

I left the drivers side open to drive into the booth and then I will seal it off.

All of the panels got their final prep and are ready for the booth.

As this has been a project of passion and keeps me busy, my wife bought me an inflatable booth as I wanted to do everything myself.

Drove into the booth and did final tape work and one more cleaning session.

Used air and tack rag for final wipe. The car will get a white sealer as I certainly sanded multiple areas to different levels and want an even color.

Sealer sprayed well in the booth. There was plenty of room to move around freely.

I sealed with white so the Sora Blue will stay sharp. You can see on the side filter I added disposable filters with an exhaust fan pulling out to keep the booth clear.

Not sure why this photographed so dark, maybe the shade or my angle, but it is the correct Sora Blue. I went with 2 coats of base.

Finished with 3 coats of clear.

The panels got the same 2 + 3 base/clear. Notice I covered the floor with a large tarp that I can dispose of and keep the booth clean.

Drove the Roadster back into the shop for some additional drying time. Very happy so far with an at home paint job.
